telegram-idea-capture

An idea inbox that never drops a thought.

Text a link or an idea to a bot and a Cloudflare Worker plus KV webhook captures it durably, even with my PC off, until I pull it and file it. Zero loss by design.

The problem this solves is the thought that arrives when you are nowhere near your machine and is gone by the time you are. A Telegram bot points at a Cloudflare Worker, which validates a secret token, dedupes, and writes the message into KV storage at the edge. Because it runs on Cloudflare and not my computer, it captures instantly and durably whether my PC is on or not.

Later, an ingest workflow pulls each stored item and files the substance into the right place. The design goal was zero loss: an idea captured is an idea that survives until I deal with it, no app to open, no note that never gets written. It is the front door to a larger capture-and-file system I use daily.

living system

What it actually took. The whole point was durability, so the build only mattered once I stopped testing it at my desk and started firing ideas at it from my phone on the train. Running the capture at the edge instead of on my own machine is what makes it trustworthy: the one place a captured thought is never lost is the place that is always on.
